This Eyezone is the best place to go for all your eye needs. They work with you and are very professional, nice and most of all caring. I would not go to any other Eyezone!

So glad I switched to this EyeZone. After my former doc moved on I wasn’t happy with the change to that office. I made the decision to switch to this office and am so glad I did!

From the very start of entering, the warm and welcoming greeting from Nicole was very nice. Her patience and assistance that was provided with my bad knee, was very much appreciated. Dr. Mary McMain was very friendly and offered really good recommendations on my vision needs. Having a little interaction about life was so nice and caring. The exceptional service from Angelo goes beyond any care I've experienced! We had laughs and shared stories as well as finding the perfect glasses! His decoration skills of the month of your office were exceptional too! All together, the staff was absolutely wonderful! Thank you.

I was in and out of there within an hour. It was my first visit so we had to do all the testing and go over my prescription. The staff is extremely helpful. I definitely recommend Eye Zone.

Angelo is very competent and thorough. It's good to have a practitioner who is always there and understands patient needs year after year. The Arlington location is far from my home, but I won't go elsewhere.

Felt very comfortable while getting my eye exams, very friendly and caring staff, helped me pick out the right glasses for me & even fixed the frames on my old glasses because they were slanted, definitely recommend!!!

Shery Garman was very sweet and helpful. She’s one of the first person you see when you walk in and it is so nice that they have someone like her because it makes you feel welcomed!

My relationship with Eye Zone began last year and was not very good. Since then, I have decided to give them one more shot and I couldn't be more pleased. The staff was amazing and i received my designer prescription glasses in 3 days!! I am beyond impressed. Thank you Eye Zone for changing my mind. You will forever be my GO TO for any of my eye care needs.Kudos

What a pleasant visit. I took my 96 year old MIL here for an exam. Matt was very kind and patient with the exam and the doctor was also very kind spoken and nice! The receptionist girl was in training and did a great job, had a pleasant personality, as well as the "check out" woman. She helped with a repair to current eyeglasses and even explained the repair. I would definitely recommend this eye group at this location, very nice group working there and the Dr. were just great. a pleasant visit. thank you

Absolutely amazing place! Micah is simply the BEST and the front desk ladies are hilarious and awesome. Dr. Z was very personable and so sweet. My teen has anxiety when it comes to doctors offices of any kind and the entire staff made sure she was comfortable and welcomed without even knowing she had hang ups about going. Telling all my friends and family to go here immediately!!

EyeZone Double R Boulevard is the best optometrist in Reno. They dialed in absolutely spectacular prescriptions for both my distance and reading glasses. These is the best prescriptions I have ever had, and I am grateful to the EyeZone staff every day when I am reading with my incredible glasses. In addition to that, the staff is all friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

Lee was very helpful! He took the time to help me pick the frames that I was interested in. He explained how insurance can help cover the cost for a second pair! Excellent Customer Service!

I had a very positive experience for my first time going to Eyezone. From reception, to the OD, to checking out and choosing my glasses it was a very smooth process. I’m looking forward to getting my glasses, I also wear contacts and Dr. Ziegler dialed my prescription in perfectly

Great customer staff from the front desk that greets you with a friendly face to the wonderful technician and the Doc and then the check out person too. I was in and out in no time and they seem to really care about you. Impressed!

Great experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming, Micah was inviting and put me at ease. Dr Ziegler was knowledgeable and friendly, while taking the time to explain everything clearly. The office had modern equipment and was comfortable. The ladies up front were also very nice and patient as I took almost an hour to pick out a pair of lenses!! 10/10 recommend

From door to door the experience was amazing. Ceecee guided me through check in and before I sat down Micah took me back for an unforgettable customer experience. Dr. Z was easy to work with and efficient at her job. Also made sure I adjusted correctly. Finally CeeCee found me a beautiful set of frames and got me dialed in. This was a much better experience than my initial visit almost 2 years ago. Then, the staff was composed of those slender, beautiful women with beautiful teeth that must have cost several tons of bananas; you know what I mean-the ones with high-pitched munchkin voices that drive me cross-eyed insane. They hustled me through the process so fast that I ended up with a prescription I kept that had a slight double-vision quality to it, mostly because I wanted to get out of there, kinda like Odysseus confronting the Sirens, only not even that pleasant. BUT THAT WAS THEN. THIS IS NOW.******!!! I booked online, in serious hurt, because of an upcoming license renewal appointment with DMV. I had just had cataract surgery 4 months earlier and Boy, Howdy, Hello! could I see the streets to drive, better than with my previous lenses, but I could not read a blasted thing. I was panicked. I booked the single online appointment available at EYEZONE WEST for the rest of December, I was in 2 days later; the staff were actual humans with regular clothing and regular personalities, not Barbie Dolls covered head to foot in hairspray to keep their starched knickers creased for 8 hours. Two very attentive younger people at the counter greeted me eagerly. EAGERLY! When was the last time you got greeted eagerly early in the day by anyone? The pre-exam lady came out within 3 minutes, did her job with poise, grace, and humour, and finally let me into a room where the doctor would help me shortly. Less than ten minutes later Dr. Mia ******* entered and began the exam, which was damned tough, because I am an older man who has burnt an eye staring at an eclipse as a kid, and compromised a retina on the other with an arterial blockage during a stroke several years ago. She worked hard on me, but wouldn't release a prescription yet because she wasn't satisfied that it was right (who does that?). Panicked, I went to the front to book the required next appointment and they got me in the next day, very late, despite not having any slots available for the rest of the year. When Dr. Mia got me in the chair the next day, she worked with me for well over an hour. We went back and forth on the diopters (?), while she explained why eye muscles, moisture, stress and a myriad of other factors can affect an exam, and then proceeded to give me probably the most critically perfect eye exam of my life. My left eye was seeing dark, straight lines; my right eye was reading at 20/15, by my estimation. I haven't yet received the lenses, but I'd bet dollars to donuts once I do ever red-tailed hawk in Washoe Valley is going to be jealous. The team I met at EyeZone West were incredible. Should be in the World Series. Great, regular folk, but definitely scientists.

The office environment was professional, friendly and welcoming all at the same time. The staff was very knowledgeable, and I was walked through every step of my examination. Added bonus: I found the perfect set of beautiful frames the moment I walked in the door. I definitely won't be going anywhere else!

Dr. Mia B. Is awesome. She is so thorough, professional, knowledgeable & comfortable to be around. The whole office staff are nice & welcoming, professional. I will use this office for all my vision visits. Plenty of parking, easy to find, nice quiet, & clean office.

I was having issues with double vision. Dr. Barron diligently tested my eyes and figured out the problem. She prescribed corrective lenses that took care of my condition and I am delighted to not see two of everything now! Thank you - highly recommend this place and Dr. Barron.

If you are looking for a new Optometrist I highly recommend Dr Barron who works with Eye Zone on South McCarren Blvd. She is knowledgeable and professional and friendly. I even ordered my new glasses with them!

They generally care about there patients. And explain in detail about what is going on with your eye. Very friendly and helpful.

From start to finish, the customer service was great. The doctor was excellent and the young lady helping me pick a pair of glasses. That was also great. I suggest you try this place out.

I am living in Tahoe and our EyeZone is no longer open. When I saw Mia’s name in my e-mail I immediately booked an appointment in west Reno. She was as great as I had remembered!! Mia is very personable with a hint of humor and her exams are more thorough than any other OD I have seen in the last 25 years. I will be driving back to see her from now on.
