Dr. Mia Barron has worked in the Carson Valley, Reno, and Lake Tahoe areas since 2012. By working in a local surgery and referral center for three years, she gained exposure and training in strabismus, retinal disease and glaucoma. Dr. Barron achieved glaucoma certification in 2016. She joins EyeZone with years of experience performing accurate diagnosis and treatment of refractive, visual efficiency, and disease disorders. Dr. Rylee Ziegler has wanted to be an optometrist since she was 15 years old and got her first pair of glasses. After graduating from Reno High School, she attended the University of Oregon and earned her Bachelor’s of Science with an emphasis in Biology and Chemistry. She is Board Certified in Vision Development and Vision Therapy by the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, holds a Master of Education Degree in Visual Function in Learning and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
