Dr. Rylee Ziegler has wanted to be an optometrist since she was 15 years old and got her first pair of glasses. After graduating from Reno High School, she attended the University of Oregon and earned her Bachelor’s of Science with an emphasis in Biology and Chemistry. She then attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis and became a Doctor of Optometry. While in Missouri, Dr. Ziegler and her husband were blessed with two beautiful little boys. While she grew to love St. Louis for its food and professional sports teams, she returned to Reno to be close to family and raise her kids in the same "big little city" she had the privilege of growing up in.
In her free time, Dr. Ziegler likes to spend time with her family and enjoy the beautiful Reno/Tahoe area. She likes reading, going to the movie theaters, quilting, and enjoying an ice cold Dr. Pepper. She loves optometry for the connection she gets to make with patients and the overall positive impact she can have on their lives. She enjoys getting to care for the whole family-from toddlers to great grandparents!
